Care that fits your schedule

Whether you are busy with work, catching up on sleep, or simply need some time to yourself, our professional Newborn Care Providers will feed, swaddle, bathe, and soothe your newborn while you focus on your own well-being.

Daytime Care

‘Daytime Care’ refers to engagements occurring between the hours of 6:00AM to 6:00PM

Having an experienced and empathetic professional by your side during the day creates the perfect opportunity to develop newborn care best practices that work for your home. Whether you are a seasoned parent or it’s your first child, our Newborn Care Providers will gladly guide you through time-tested, AAP-approved strategies for keeping your baby happy and healthy. This includes tips and tricks around day-to-day tasks (e.g., feedings and diaper changes) as well as more multifaceted activities such as structured play and cognitive development.

Overnight Care

The most common problem new parents face is ‘parental fatigue’ and sleep deprivation. Our providers are here to help!

‘Overnight Care’, which refers to engagements occurring between the hours of 6:00PM to 6:00AM, enables you to sleep soundly at night knowing your baby is being watched over by a highly-qualified, professionally-trained care giver.

An overnight engagement covers all of a newborn’s needs during the night time, including bathing, swaddling, diaper changes, feeding, soothing, and of course, helping your baby to sleep. If your baby is breastfed, your provider will bring your baby and wake you to nurse, if you so choose. If your baby is bottlefed, your provider will wake with your baby (or wake your baby on an agreed upon schedule) for feedings.

Live-in Care

‘Live-in Care’ is the most comprehensive care option available for your home. During this critical period in your newborn’s life, you will engage a provider to temporarily live with you and your family, providing around-the-clock newborn care and gently guiding you on the transition into parenthood.

While working hours will vary depending on your arrangement with your provider, having a live-in provider means a professional caregiver is never more than a few steps away from your newborn. You will also be able to establish a closer and more tailored experience with your caregiver, who will work exclusively with your family for the duration of the engagement.

What is newborn care and why does my baby need it?

Newborn Care is so much more than feeding and diapering, it’s the perfect time to set your baby up for a healthy happy future through the use of consistent sleep patterns, with bonding and co regulation, and encouraging your baby’s movement patterns in floor and tummy time to optimize all those lovely cognitive and neurological brain connections that happen in the first few months.

How can a Newborn Care Provider help me?

A Newborn Care Provider (NCP) will bring you their experience of caring for many newborns and their families, they will be a wonderful partner on the path to understanding your baby.  They will help you decode each different cry, discover each reflex and what they mean, and will reassure you what is ‘normal’ and what may need some closer attention.  They will help you with soothing techniques, set up healthy sleep and feeding schedules and of course take over full care of your baby when you want to get some rest.
